Tattoos of Stars on Wrists
I just got 3 stars tattooed on both of my wrists. I am going to school to be a teacher.?
I know some people are not for tattoos but in todays generation but they are becoming really big. All of my tattoos are meaningful and not offensive. Will this hurt my chances of getting hired?
There are a number of factors that come into play.
1. Placement of tattoos.
2. What they are.
3. What the school’s policies are.
I have a few friends that are teachers and they all have tattoos. They are all easily covered up by clothing or jewelery. As long as the tattoos aren’t offensive the school district doesn’t care.
I would imagine that every school and possibly school district would have different rules on tattooed teachers.
You’ll just need to do your homework on the school’s you apply to.
