Tattoo Shops in San Francisco
where can i get my nose pierced in california?
i know i can got to a tattoo shop, but i would prefer to go to a chain piercing shop. where is one in northern california, preferably in the bay area, near or in san francisco. if you have been to a tattoo shop near by, then where was it, and what did you like about that shop?
i don’t want an actual ring, i just want a tiny little crystal.
Claire’s in the SF Center or Stonestown is the only chain that I know of that does piercings.
If you do have to go to a tattoo shop, do not go to Mom’s on Haight. It is not a very good shop despite what some delusional fans of the shop may say. It is dirty and overrated. The two piercers who were there last year are pretty nice, experienced guys who I would think would do a good job on your nose though. The overall experience of that place may not be worth it.
Years ago I went to Body Manipulations when it was on Haight and Fillmore. The people there were great but that was a LONG time ago, they are now on 16th and Valencia and I have no idea.
Any place that you go be very aware of the reception. Are they too cool to be true? A lot of attitude? Bad business practices translate through to all the different aspects of the work.
Read some local review on “Yelp” or another online review forum.
