Question about a tattoo I’m getting?
I’m getting a tattoo of a heart with a rainbow inside it with swirls around it inbetween my shoulder blades. I live in northern California right now but I am moving down to L.A. next year to go to beauty school. My question is, do you think it is okay to have a tattoo of a rainbow visible in L.A….and be safe? I just don’t want to be in danger…I could always cover it up when I’m walking on the streets but I just want to know if it would be dangerous. Some people wouldn’t immediately associate rainbows with homosexuality but I was just curious of some opinions. I have wanted this tattoo for a long time and I’m turning 18 in two months and I’m getting it on my birthday. Gay rights activism has been a big part of my life and I am also bisexual. I really don’t care if you think that getting it is a bad idea, I just want to know if I would be able to have it showing in L.A.
I live near LA and Hollywood, trust me you’ll be fine, no one will care. I think it sounds cute and really who cares what everyone else thinks anyways? If you love it, get it and flaunt it! Trust me, you’re in no danger, the only way you would be in a danger having a tattoo out here is if you had a gang tattoo. Don’t worry about it. And good luck with beauty school!
