Best place in Seattle to get a tattoo?
Hi! I’ve finally decided on the design for my first tattoo and where I want it, now I just need to decide on a place to have it done! I’ve been reading reviews and it seems like Slave to the Needle is very clean and does a really good job, but their staff is generally cold and cranky; vice verse for some other places. It IS my first tattoo, so I’m looking for somewhere that is absolutely clean and sterile, will do my tattoo well, and won’t make me feel awful if I’m really nervous and turn out to have no pain tolerance whatsoever 
Anyone have a particularly good experience somewhere?
I suggest you pull out a phone book, get in your car, and start running around.
Check that the place is clean, check out the autoclave, make sure you’re comfortable with the artist, and check out his or her portfolio to see if he does good art (especially in the style you’re looking to get done).
An artist that worked great for me drawing style X, may not be the one for you if you’re design is done in style Y.
