tattoo removal help please?

Ok, so my friend has a chinese symbol tattoo on her stomach that she wants to remove. It’s small and only black ink was used and she has fair skin. I was wondering what would be the best methods would be for her removing it? See, I was thinking since I heard that tattoo creams only fade the tattoo (apparently wrecking balm has gotten good reviews), it would still be best if she did that first as well as laser so that way she doesn’t have to get as many laser treatments and that would reduce the pain and cost. What do you think? Plus, does skin tone have anything to do with making the tattoo fade quicker? She has fair skin. What other methods are there for tattoo removal and how much is the average cost and is it painful? Thanks.
Ok, honey, your stating the obvious. But it’s too late for that so please don’t leave me useless answers like that. I’m trying to find a removal method that is as painless and quick as possible for her, so if you have any useful answer, I’m all ears.

Removal options for a small tattoo include surgical excision & laser removal. Would not recommend the online creams they do not work-nor will it help reduce the number of laser treatments.
