Bingo daubers, bingo markers, bingo dobbers, they are all one and the same. I am quite sure that most players are familiar with these, especially those who love playing in traditional bingo halls.

Until I visited some of the bigger bingo halls recently I thought bingo daubers were not something worthy of a discussion. What an eye opener! Did you know that they are much more than ink markers? I saw more variations of these items than I ever thought possible.
Some of the ordinary bingo daubers were normal ink ones – blue, yellow, red and pink were to be seen everywhere. But when one takes a closer look, you will find something most interesting. Bingo daubers have become a collection item to many players!
You can be patriotic with various “Uncle Sam” bingo daubers, or trendy with fluorescent or glitter bingo daubers.
Some of the most interesting bingo daubers I’ve seen are the special ones for the ladies.
You can now buy a “Romeo” bingo dauber. This dauber comes complete with a Speedo bathing suit, tattoo and ponytail! Or you can buy the “Top Hat Romeo” version, which is wearing a Speedo bathing suit, tattoo, ponytail and of course a top hat and tuxedo!
Another great collector’s item is the Elvis bingo dauber! Yes, the King himself to help you mark off those winning numbers. You can even buy an Elvis Bag to hold the various Elvis bingo daubers available.
Other great bingo daubers are holiday or seasonal bingo daubers. You can buy anything from Christmas to Easter bingo daubers!
A trend that is becoming very popular is online auctions for bingo daubers. Some collector’s bingo daubers are for sale at surprisingly high prices! As with any other collector’s item, the scarcity of the item influences their price greatly.
Something one should always keep in mind is the role bingo daubers play in the subject of luck. Most players are very superstitious about their bingo daubers. Most players believe that the shape, size, type or even color of their marker plays a very important role in determining whether they will win the game or not.
The good news is that you can always collect bingo daubers, even if you play online. Bingo daubers are more than ink markers, they are lots of fun, awesome gifts and collecting them can be a great hobby!
