Where is a safe place to get my cartilage pierced in the suburbs of Chicago?
So as my 18th birthday present to myself I want to get my helix pierced. The catch is that I don’t want to get it done at Claire’s or a place like that because my friend had it done there and they used a gun to do it and she has a “bump” on the back of her ear because of it. I want to get it done at a tattoo parlor or a professional place so that I know that it is done correctly and safely. I want to know where there are some “good” ( safe, clean, etc.) parlors to get it done in the suburbs of Chicago or in Chicago. The price doesn’t really matter as long as it is done correctly.
When I was in Chicago I got my tragus pierced at this place called The Alley. It’s in the city down Belmont avenue (if you know where that is). But they took 10 minutes to sterilize all equipment, talked you through the process, and were very sanitary/careful. It costed around $80 so a little pricey but very good quality.
