Tattoo on Finger Tip

tattoo on finger tip
good spot for a tattoo?

i was thinking of getting a peace sign on my pointer, a heart on my middle finger, and a smiley on my ring finger….i absolutely love the idea, but i’ve found out that it won’t last much longer than two months. does anyone have another good idea similar to this one that won’t fade? i don’t have the money to keep having them re-done. i barely can afford to get the initial tat done.
i want it somewhere that i can see it, and somewhere that would hurt the least (another reason i’ve decided against the finger tips). i have a pretty low pain tolerance when it comes to anything sharp.
i’ve thought about it long enough…i want a REAL one, that will last forever…thus the dilemma of 2 months not being long enough, i don’t want a henna. i want a real one.

and no a tattoo artist didn’t tell me the fingertips would fade, but i’ve seen multiple pictures of fingertip tattoos which faded very quickly, in the end they all had one spot that stayed

Well, since the palm of your hand is constantly changing and being used, tattoos there probably won’t last as long. /you could modify your idea slightly and have a similar one on the back of your hand, perhaps going around the wrist and up one of the fingers.

You could also have a similar idea on your knuckles or just above them although you should probably consult a tattoo artist about it. Since they seem quite small and simple they shouldn’t be too painful. I would also suggest you avoid using read and yellow (perhaps in the smiley) as these will fade fast whereas dark colors such as blue and black will stay for longer. good luck.

If you live in a hot country or wear sandals a lot you could consider getting one on your ankle as it should be less painful but also visible.
