Tattoo Needles Information
Hello. Okay…the thirtieth of this month would make one year since I’d gotten my very first tattoo…?
I went to this place where they didn’t ask for my age, when I was seventeen, and they had me write down some personal information. I was with one of my best friends and she had to do the same. We both got tattoos, and I went first, but amidst all of the exhilaration, I’m not sure I checked to see if the needle was sterile. I did, however, very briefly see the artist move around some plastic cap, or something plastic. My friend said she’s sure hers was sterile, but for some reason, I’m a little concerned about mine. This place had a rather cordial atmosphere and the artists seemed to be quite professional. Should I really be worrying myself to death? My hands are even shaking a bit right now… Would you suggest that I go for an HIV test at all? I really thank you all for your time and assistance. :^}
Thank you, bagel878. I am very well aware of the transmission of hepatitis C through needles, but I am most concerned about HIV, for whatever reason. On a lighter note…cute username.
you don’t really have to worry about any transmitted disease. your problem would be an infection, and if it’s been a year then you’ve got nothing to worry about.
I mean, other than what it will look like when you’re sixty (hehe)
