tattoo Culture?

PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE ANSWERING — thanks.

I love my Ink and i love Ink on other people if it is done artistically, no offence but there is nothing worse than rubbishy poor attempts and junk tatt’s on people.
Anyway my opinions aside tattoo culture has really made progress over the years. I remember as a kid i was taught that tatt’s were for scum, or lower class louts. Little known at the time by the teachers of this philosophy that i myself would become “inked up”.
I love that the culture is what it is today and becoming more and more acceptable. I still get the odd look at the train station but then i do live in stuffy part of the country.
I read the article below and the comments section actually surprised me. Some of the old dated opinions are still flowing out of mouths. Why surely this is the 21st century….

Have a read for yourself.

I love tatt’s, i love women even more with arty ink but what do you all think ??

I got my first tatt last year and now have 7 although all relatively small, the largest being around 2 inches. I love them and they all represent something in my life, my two daughters for example. Each time I have said “that’s it no more” I have gotten the itch again for another. This will be the longest I have lastest but the “itch” has started again to get another.

I think in general, like piercings also, they are more acceptable now.

An old lady grimaced one day as she had to sit next to me on the train, my eyebrow piercing and wrist tattoos clearly visable. Eventually, due to delays we got chatting. When she started preparing for her stop she actually said to me “In my mind I misjudged you dear for your tattoos and eye thingy but I apologise for that as you are a lovely young lady”. I am sure she is not the first nor the last who will. Although at 36 I was more pleased with the “young lady” part of it LOL
