how far would you drive to get a great tattoo or ink done?
if u found out about a new shop that just opened up in the area. how far would u drive? okay also let me add to this… i live in the Chicago land subs and I’m trying to help my brother and his soon to be wife out. they are opening a tattoo shop (this will make this her #4 shop) they don’t want to have it in the city. yet still don’t want to be too far in the subs that people from the city wouldn’t drive. from what i know is that her work is great. enough so that the owner of Miami ink sought her out and recently offered her a job there. she said yes but has just turned it down to come her to IL to start her life with my brother and open up her 4Th shop. so how far would u drive and wouldn’t drive to get a tattoo? 10miles…..40 Min’s?
My regular tattoo artists are down the street from my new apartment, but about 45 minutes away from where I lived when I started getting tattooed there. I have driven all they to St. Louis, MO (and I’m in Memphis, TN) to have something done at a tattoo convention there, and I plan to fly all the way up north to Brass City Tattoos for a piece.
Tattoos last forever. If you are serious enough about the artwork you are putting on your body, you will go as far as you have to for quality work.
