Tattoo Infections Symptoms
tattoo infections symptoms

I got a tattoo about 3 days ago, and i cant tell if it’s infected or not.?
I got it on my forearm, and its swollen, with a light pink color surrounding the tattoo. i looked up signs of infection, and the only symptom i have is the swollen-ness and the pain. Ive been using aquaphor and lubriderm, and while it hasn’t gotten worse, its not really improving either. Also, the tattoo is raised above my skin, almost like when you get a henna tattoo. what should i do?
My first tattoo raised above my skin and NEVER went down. I was told that this was because the tattoo artist used really good quality black ink and because he had a really heavy hand. Only use the lubriderm because that won’t infect you at all. That’s all I used and my other 2 tattoos came out wonderful. If it stays that way go to your tattoo artist and tell him.
