I want it kinda like on my hip .. you know where girls get them? but anyways… weve been together 8 years and he proposed to me and we are getting tats. should i get his last name? initials? any other quotes or pic ideas???

I’m not telling you not to get a tattoo (please don’t say tat) for someone else, but don’t get their name. There seems to be a curse around getting names of non-blood family members. Do something that symbolizes you both… some examples…
- your birth flower and his birth flower with stems and cute little bow tying the stems together
- if he has a pet name for you and you for him, get his on you and yours on him
- a small dainty celtic knot that intertwines with your birthstone color and his
Honestly you would be better with an image symbolizing the two of you than you would with something just symbolizing him. I wouldn’t wish it on you, but what if things go sour 2 years from now and you regret getting the tattoo? Go for something that you can connect more than just a person to. People are expendable, tattoos are forever.
