Tattoos? And sterotypes?

Im a design student donf a thesis type thing on tattoos and the changing sterotype attached! If anyone can recommend books, websites, articles, links or anything on the history of tattoos, tattoos themselves, or the stereotypes out there and how they developed it would be appriciated!

Also just opinions are good too, what do you think of tattoos and such?? Any feedback is grrrreat!

I’d suggest watching “ancient ink” its an hour long documentary and it shows the history of tattooing in many cultures up to the modern day image of tattoos and how they are viewed in each culture
