Why is my UV tattoo not glowing during the healing process?

My UV tattoo is in the scabbing process. Part of it fell off and it isnt glowing anymore. One of my friends who has one said it happened to her as well and that in a week or 2 after, it started glowing again. Why is that?

i have 2 and this has never happened to me even when it was healing. u should never let ur tat ‘scab’ however. keep it moist with bacitracin. my guess is it wasnt done deep enough or maybe needs to be touched up which is typical depending on where its at. my newest tat was done a month ago, above my eyebrow in uv ink, titanium white. it needs a little touch up. call ur artist if necessary.
