My tattoo ink is coming off?

I recently got my tattoo about a week ago and everything was great until the healing process. Every time i apply lotion or ointment some of the ink seems to be coming off on my fingers? I am very hesitant due to this being my first tatt. I clean it often with dial and apply aquaphor right after cleaning couple times a day. I don’t know if this is normal still after a week? or if i am doing something wrong. It is in the peeling stage now but this have been happening before that. Please help ill be so grateful i just don’t want my first tatt to get ruined .

The ink that is coming off is what was trapped among the dead shedding skin cells (epidermis) and the tattoo ink that will stay is down in the next layer (dermis) and will be there permanently.

Don’t worry. When it sheds it will look very light, sometimes shiny and cloudy. After the fresh outer layer becomes more transparent again when fully healed you will see the color really well again.

Just put some white unscented lotion on it if it feels dry or itchy.
