Is Bepanthen OK for tattoos because…?
… I had a look on the tattoo goo site (amongst others) and it says:
-Do not apply Vaseline, lanolin or petroleum based products.
Bepanthen contains lanolin as its second ingredient.
I’ve heard rave reviews about it but am worried because I’ve seen so many different opinions. Some say it’s great, others say use vaseline, some say never use it. I’m confused!
Can anyone help?!
if other people have used bepanthen and had no troubles with it then it should be safe.
to be sure, test a small amount on your skin (not tattooed skin) to check your not allergic or have a reaction from it. then apply a small amount to part of your tattoo, start with a thin layer first. then if all clear, go for it.
