Foreigners with tattoos in Osaka, Japan?

I’m a western girl with 2 large japanese tattoos on my legs one a geisha the other a Koi fish. I’m going to osaka and wanted to know if it would be a bad idea to show them off in public. I know i won’t be allowed in onsens and gyms but i don’t want to offend anyone as im not even japanese and have japanese tattoos???? will i be ok to go over there with these tattoos?

Japanese mostly, especially elders of them consider tatooed peple disrace outlaws. You’d better keep covering those with something much as possible in public there. Showing them off deliberatelly is not so good idea because it is inefficiently at least.
