Apprenticing?
I’m really interesting into becoming an apprentice… So I know that some tattoo artists can charge up to 8k, it’ll take me a couple of years to save up.. so I while I save, should I work on a portfolio of what I currently can draw? If so, then should I have a mixture of drawings (the typical tattoos (swallows, celtic knots, nautical stars, ect.) and then org.) or should I have just like… swallows, celtic knots, tribal, skulls, ect. ect. or just have org. pieces? What should I work on? should they just be pencil sketches or should some be colored?
is there anything else I should work on before I become an apprentice?
