best place to find inspiration for my tattoo?

Take inspiration anywhere you can.
are there gardens or a park you can walk through near your home? Go for a wander at the weekend or after work and see if nature inspires you at all. decide the species of vines and butterflies – ivy or grape vines, for example. you might like to get a gardening/botanical book from the library to flip through. this might sound odd, but if you have the names of the flowers, vines etc, you can then further research the images online. when you know the way these vines etc interact and grow in real life you’ll have a better idea of how you want the tattoo to look.
try googling “flower symbol meaning” and see what you find – you may be interested in some of the possible “meanings”, and iconography behind different plants. how much symbolism do you want in your tattoo?
Go to an art gallery if you can and just have a wander round. Even if you aren’t looking for anything specific, it’s worth it to be surrounded by different kinds of art to get a feel of what you want the tattoo to look like. note down the names of artists that you like and do further research on them. You can take all the information you have gathered – types of vines and plants, styles of artists that you like, images of paintings you’ve found etc – to your artist who might then be able to further the creative process.
