Tattoo behind your ear questions?
1. Is this a more painful spot for a first tattoo because there isn’t much flesh there?
2. Is this a logical spot to get one?
3. Would a pawprint be tacky or unoriginal? (I love animals and hope to get a career involving them, but it seems kind of unoriginal lol)
I won’t actually get a tattoo until I’m completely sure, but I’ve been wanting one for a long time and I’m old enough to get one so that’s not a problem. I just want some opinions.

Oh and also approximately how much would a small one cost? I know only the artist I go to can give me the actual amount but I just mean an estimate.
I have 18 tattoos, but none behind my ear.
I would think that would be a painful because there isn’t any fat there. In my opinion you want a “meaty or fatty” spot – less pain in those places. I have tattoos on the back of my neck (2), on my left forearm/wrist (8), on my right forearm/wrist (6) and my calves each have 1. Tomorrow I’m getting another on my left bicep and and one right over my right “boobie” area.
I’m not so sure about the paw print tattoo ~ I’m not saying it’s a bad tattoo, but a lot of people have the paw print to represent a dog/cat that they’ve lost or to memorialize a favorite pet they have.
I also commend you on waiting until you are 100% sure about the tattoo, because like everyone else is going to say, once they’re there, they stay. Honestly, if you love animals that much, I don’t think you will regret the tattoo, but please be sure of the “picture” before you get it done.
