Tattoo Artist Salary Range
Becoming a tattoo artist?
I have been looking into it for a while, and I’ve decided I want to be a tattoo artist. I do art as a hobby, and would like to see how I could do.
It sounds like a job I could have fun doing.
I understand there’s’ some sort of apprenticing,
and also that theres’ no steady salary or hours,
I want to know how long you have to be an apprentice normally,
and what the average range of salary is.
i have no idea how it generally works out.. but one of my buddies ordered a kit off ebay for about 150$ and started tatooing his buddies for free/cheap and after a while he became extremely confident and went into a tattoo parlour and asked if they where seeking an apprentice he apprenticed for a year and he now does tattoos in hollywood and makes a comfortable living..
