what would be the average cost for a thorough apprenticeship in tattooing? Or where would I find a free one?

I have recently been offered an apprenticeship for $5000 with all inclusive training. Thats alot of money for me .Also there is no contract or anything officiated on paper. I am weary of this. Any advice? Thoughts? Please!

Unless you get lucky and just happen to meet one who’s willing to apprentice you, all you can do is start pounding the pavement. Go to every shop you can find and bring along a portfolio of your art work. The source has many more hints.

And don’t even think about paying five grand without a contract.
