Are henna tattoos and other temporary tattoos safe?
I’ve read on various sites that they can be toxic, as they use silver nitrate, a corrosive compond.

100% pure henna is safe and natural.
The basic recipe is ground up leaves of the plant, lemon juice and some essential oil.
This pure henna is perfectly safe and will not harm you.
The resulting stain is red/brown on your skin.
Stay away from anything that is “black henna” as this may contain PPD and can cause blistering, scarring, and life long health issues.
It is illegal in the US and Canada to apply PPD to the skin.
