importance of tattoo meanings..?

I have been really thinking about getting a tattoo lately. I have been playing with the idea of lilies on the back of my left shoulder that come over onto my shoulder. I love those flowers, and I think they are exceptionally beautiful. I wouldn’t get it for a while though just because i want to put more thought into the design. But, I know many people when getting tattoos have profound meaning or stories behind them, and I was wondering that if just wanting something beautiful on your skin was reason enough.

Most of my tattoos don’t really have deep meanings, I just like them, or it is something that is important to me. I think the fact that you like them and think they are pretty is a good enough reason to get them. I doubt you will regret it, unless you suddenly start hating lilies when you are older. I can’t really give you an exact answer, but I would say you are probably looking to pay between $100 and $150 depending on the size and detail.
