Shading Tattoo Ink
New tattoo-ink leakage?
I just got a tattoo on my back (black, lots of shading, about 4″ in diameter) on Friday, and when I woke up this morning, after inadvertently sleeping on my back, my nightshirt was damp in the area of the tattoo, and you could see the pattern on the shirt itself from the ink on the tattoo. Is this normal? There’s no evidence of blood, just ink. Even on my day clothes, there’s some ink, but I think it looks more like ink flakes. I’ve been washing it with antibacterial soft soap about three times a day, patting it dry with a towel, and using this ointment that the shop gave to me for aftercare (it is something natural and herbal that the owner makes herself). I also have some Eucerin unscented lotion that I was going to switch to by Monday or Tuesday. Also, as a side question, how does perspiration affect the tattoo? Is it okay to perspire modestly if you exercise?
Dont worry, its absolutley normal for the ink to bleed and then the dead skin flakes off.
