Tattoo Design

What is a very important egyptian proverb or scripture. Popular phrase. Anything Religious.?

I’m getting a tattoo, and i want the tatto to be dark, somthing unknown to most, and for it to have meaning. Its going to be in hieroglyphics, to give it more originality. Any comments would be apprciative!!

That’s a hard one to answer, You could always check out a copy of the Book of the Dead. BTW if you do get a copy, do not buy a translation by Budge (his translations are horribly inacurate)
I’m sending you a link to a copy I have myself, It has the actual scan of the text next to the translation (by Faulkner). If you are seriously interested in Egyptian mytholgy this is the copy you should have.
