Am I just being Paranoid ?

I got the out line and some shading done on my tattoo last night.It doesn’t look so great. The guy that is doing it is has only been doing tats for two years, but he is working with Caveman the best and most popular tattoo artist in my state which is Maine. He does have a small portfolio and 1 2nd place trohpy. His work looks good and cave Man kept checking my outline and said that it looked good and that he would have done it the same way. I’m second guessing my desision and I’m thinking about letting someone else finish it. Keep in mind that I am A perfectionist and nothing is ever good enough for me. The outline doesn’t match up to the exact measuements of the design That I picked.This is the design . it’s going to be a sleeve on my upper right arm.

I agree with the other two and I don’t think that you are being paranoid at all!!

If you are not comfortable and satisfied with the way the work is going – by all means go find someone else to finish it!

This is going to be on your body forever!

Personally, I would go with someone with much more experience, rather than an apprentice that is still learning.

You want to be Proud of your tattoo and be able to Show it off – not be Ashamed of it and hide it because you don’t like it.

It’s YOUR body – do what YOU think is best!

I’ve known several people who have had worked done that were not satisfied with the finished outcome and all of them complain about it! lol

A couple have had the worked redone or retouched, and the rest don’t have the money to go to someone else to fix the problems (bad work, fading, incomplete, color didn’t take right, etc).

By the way, that is going to make one gorgeous tat – as long as you get someone who *knows* what they are doing to finish it!
