what ever happened to tattoos?

there was a time when tattoos were a form of self expression and rebellion, it still is but now every meathead asshole has to get the psalms and other bible verses tattooed on there chest,but mainly they tattoo there own names on themselves-how gay is that, along with other dumb tattoos,and slutty girls always want to get butterflies or some dumb shit tattooed on spots close to their vagina or ass,its just so annoying the popular people ruin it for everybody, what the hell happened? and if u reply to this making rude remarks then that means you are the people im talking about, but to the people who truly know what i mean-reply

You might want to look into the history of the art of tattoos. They may have a few years ago been just a form of self expression and rebellion, But that was also a phase. Actually tattoos are symbols that represent something significant to the wearer. I got mine in the 1960′s and is it was not the thing to do then, and my Father got his in China and Oakland CA 1927-1932. and his father got his to represent a political prospective in 1906. As far as tattoos being places in personal places and on private parts that is nothing new either, certain cubs have been doing it for almost 65 years. A look at the history of Tattooing, might be en-lighting and it is only ruined if you think it is, I just had my Grandson do one from me, because I want some of his art with me, I now have over 3 generations of art. I carry the ones I love with me.
