New Tattoos Fading
new tattoo, color seems to be fading?
I got my first tattoo on the 16th, and it was supposed to be a royal blue. But it’s faded quite a bit. Supposedly the ink picks up from natural hues in your skin, but I don’t know. I’m very fair-skinned. I was hoping it’d be darker. Is this normal?
yes… as it heals it will get brighter/lighter. mainly becasue all of the ink from the tat doesnt take and some is lost with the dead skin. if you want it darker wait about 2 weeks from when you had it done and go back and talk to your artist.
