NEW tattoo – SCABBING?
I JUST GOT my tattoo ON FRIDAY ON MY WRIST THE ARTIST SAID TO PUT A LITTLE OINTMENT ON FOR 2 DAYS THEN I WOULDNT NEED TO PUT ANYTHING BUT IT IS DRY AND SCABBING IM WONDERING IF THE INK IS GONNA GET SCREWED UP ANY ADVICE
Like they said don’t pick. Any tattoo you get will scab. Depending on how far down the needle punctured, it may be worse than previous tattoos or tattoos that your friends have gotten. Don’t worry about it. Just keep in mind, if you pick or scratch directly on the scab and the skin comes up, you will lose the fresh ink which will either make your tattoo appear fades or lose the ink completely if its too near the surface.
