im thinking about getting a tattoo on the back of my neck?
i want my tattoo on the back of my neck, right under my hairline. i have my design and everything but keep backing out of actually going and getting it because im scared. does anyone know the sensitivity of this area? or how bad it will hurt? thanks!
I have a tat on my lower back , and I thought it was very painful over the spine.. however, I got one on the back of my neck and thought it was going to be painful, when it really wasn’t all that painful at all.
However— As everyone informs people all the time when they ask this question– the pain of any specific tattoo really does depend on the person. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different; what might hurt for me, might not hurt on someone else. The only way you’ll really know is to get it done.
Even if you find it hurts, or uncomfortable– you gotta just keep telling yourself that once it’s done, it’s done. You’ll have a beautiful tattoo that you can show off forever, and any pain or discomfort only lasts as long as the tattoo is being done (unlike piercings where the pain may last up to a week later).
