Has this happened to you? Color tattoos scarring on hip bone area?
I got two star outlines in a maroon-ish color on my hip bone area 2 inches in diameter about 3 months ago and the “artist” went so deep he scarred me horribly on some of the lining and it looks like crap. I got them re-done about 1 month ago by a different artist who used a hot pink color (there was no way for him to match the color the other “artist” made with two colors) to thicken the lines around the original stars, trying to make the original look better. As it healed, i have scarring still from the old stars and spaces and gaps in the new stars where the artist “missed” spots. I took very good care of them both times and followed instructions exactly but it seems i’m scarred with these first tattoos.
Has this kid of scarring happened to any one with similar tattoos? I’m devastated and plan on getting them touched up one more time from the second artist i went to but will i just keep scarring and ruining it more? HELP! my first tat’s are a disaster.
From the way you described it, yes they went way too deep. If you had gone to a good artist the second time, they could have closely mixed and matched those colors. It might take a few different shops but there is someone out there that can help you. I’ve personally fixed many people who have been scared. The tough scars are the keeloy (sp?) (sorry for the spelling) but it can be done. Good luck with it, I hope you find someone good.
