Best Tattoo Makeup Cover Up
Any good makeup to cover a tattoo?
I live in Richmond, VA. I was wondering if there are any stores here or websites that carry really good tattoo cover-up. I need to cover my tattoos for some events. Preferably waterproof….. I have tattoos on my upper back, chest, hip, wrist and I’m getting an inner bicep one.
You need the help of a makeup professional for this. They are in major department stores or places like Ulta.
If you are talking weddings or something similar…the key is to not having it show in pictures. Often you can see a very opaque spot. Also keep in mind the time of year and sun exposure to be sure you have a good blend of color.
Make up artists I know prefer to mix Dermablend with Cover Mark because one is too oily, the other too dry. The main thing is to use the setting powder. This is super fine milled so no substitutes!
Apparently Sephora has a cover now in Kat Von D’s line, but I didn’t see any setting powder for it. You would have to check that out.
