What is the best tattoo machine for a beginner to learn on and where do I buy it?
Before you buy a machine and long before you even remotely think about attempting to tattoo someone or yourself, learn what you are trying to do. tattoo artists spend years learning their craft because as simple as is looks, tattooing is not an easy thing to do properly. You need to know how deeply to penetrate the skin so that the ink doesn’t fade or turn muddy. You need to know how to shade and color properly, how to maintain a sterile work area so the people you are tattooing don’t get infections. You need to learn art aestestics so that you can do a variety of different styles and how to make them visually pleasing.
If you are serious about wanting to learn tattooing, you need to find an artist who is willing to take you on as an apprentice. It will take a very long time to learn to do it right.
Of course, you could just buy a kit through mail order and botch everybody you put needle to skin on.
