Ancient Tattoo Techniques
What types of ink were used for ancient tattooing methods and how were they prepared?
I am trying to learn about natural methods of tattooing and am having trouble finding any resources on the subject. I am not interested in modern techniques, since I can read about that all day long. I am more interested in the types of plants used and how they were prepared.
I’m guessing that different substances were used depending on the country. I’ve attached a history of tattoos site which might help you.
