After Tattoo Care

after tattoo care?
can i use johnson’s softlotion 24 hour moisture for after new tattoo care
Most places recommend a somewhat thicker unscented lotion earlier on – Eucerin, for example, is that I use. Realistically any lotion should work. The important point is to keep the area moisturized, and the specifics are not as important, plus keep the area clean (depending on location, this can be anywhere from tricky to trivial). Thicker moisturizers used in moderation do this best.
I wouldn’t use vaseline or neosporin though. As commented by artists who post to YA, vaseline can pull the color out of a new tattoo, and a lot of folks are allergic to neosporin (and other tribiotics) in the amount you would use on a tattoo.
